The Rutgers Club Swim Team is a competitive coed team that swims against other college club swim teams all along the East Coast. Rutgers’ original training and competition pool located in the College Avenue Gym on the College Avenue Campus is now used for many recreational and instructional programs. Both of these efforts were student driven and student supported with little, if any, assistance from the University.Today, Rutgers Sport Clubs continue on as student run organizations that exist to assist individuals to develop skills and improve their performance in a particular sport or physical activity. The team gives Rutgers students an opportunity to continue their swimming careers at a competitive level that does not have as much of a time commitment as a varsity sport. At that time, the University purchased the house and the Rutgers Club moved in. S/o to our swimmers who swam in the home meet today!
