The reclassification process to Division I status is “part of an overall strategic plan to raise the visibility and profile of the University” which started in 2003 and will afford more student-athlete opportunities to play other high profile educational institutions when Division I status is awarded in September 2007.The Athletic Field complex consists of two competition venues; one artificial turf field (women’s field hockey/lacrosse) and one natural grass field (men’s and women’s soccer). The supporting structures for the two fields include an entrance pavilion that houses ticket booths, restrooms, and a concession area.
