It's getting expensive to get 1 item and I still have the nightmare of getting the useless summons yet, a couple of which I can't even benefit from sirens. In FF4 the Flans just seem to never end, and the PinkPuffs in the final castle give you a crazy fight!
I don't mind achievements but they shouldn't exist for things that rival astate lottery for sheer dumb luck. Sounds fun right?
Is this comparable to the event version or even more tough? I know that this sounds totally impossible but it did happen.

I tried to take a picture of the screen, but the batteries in my digital camera were dead. They are encountered rarely, and the tail is an even rarer drop. If you're looking at what Augments to give to each character to maximize your stats by your 3rd playthrough you should check these guides: In FF10/X-2 there are a whole bunch of elemental-based Flans.
