The transport was on time to pick us up from trains, planes, and boats. Centrally located and extremely convenient for us to get to the different tourist attractions.Thank you Firebird Tours, we had an amazing trip, perfectly planned and coordinated. Really! Each of the guides was extremely knowledgeable about the sites we were seeing.The trip was truly fantastic. The massive compound is open to day trippers and is inhabited by a small population of bohemian types and artists.Despite an average summer temperature in the mid-60s, Helsinkians take full advantage of the long summer sun, which usually means swimming in the brisk Baltic.

The highlight for us was the Stegastein lookout in Flam (we organised this ourselves and were the only ones that went up) and the Fjord Safari in Flam. The hotels, tours, trains, fjords and the cruise were just the best.

If traveling to Iceland by air (like most people), the main airport is Keflavik, which is just 40 minutes from Iceland’s capital: Reykjavik. Ikea has its merits, but Sweden’s design is best seen on display in Stockholm’s coffee shops, independent boutiques, and museums like the National Museum, Nordiska Museet, or the previously mentioned Moderna Museet. My traveling companions said they waited ages for responses to emails. The hotels in all three cities were perfect.I just wanted to let you know that we have an absolutely wonderful trip. I am communicating with my friends and relatives that if they are looking for an excellent tour company to book their next vacation look for Firebird Tours!

Our Tour Guides were well informed and extremely courteous. The taxation of capital income (capital gains and dividends) in Scandinavian countries is similar to the United States, with the exception of Denmark. Seriously, everything worked out so perfectly. Entering the fortress over the drawbridge before the crowds arrive can feel like a time warp. It was the best holiday we have ever had. The hotdogs are lamb based (as sheep are everywhere on the island), and they’re topped with ketchup, mustard, fried onion, and sweet mayonnaise. The tour worked really well for us - all the hotels were good, and the breakfasts were great! We really enjoyed it.
